Itinerary Surabaya Bromo Ijen Tour Package 4 Days 3 Nights
Day 1 : Surabaya – Mount Bromo
Arriving at Surabaya international airport, our team will pick you up at the airport then take you to the hotel accommodation near Mount Bromo that we have reserved. After that, check in and rest to prepare for the Bromo Sunrise tour in the early morning.
Day 2: Bromo Sunrise tour – Ijen Hotel
At 3 am, it’s time for the participants to get ready and be picked up by the 4WD jeep to get to the highest peak in Bromo that is Pananjakan Mountain where the other visitors gather there to see the phenomenal Bromo sunrise. In the area of Bromo, you can also enjoy other attractions such as the view of the crater of Bromo, savanna and sea of whisper sand.
Back to the restaurant, enjoy breakfast, and the participants are free to spend time here until check out time arrives. At 11 noon you can leave the area of Mount Bromo and we will take you to Mount Ijen plateau by duration 5 hours drive. Arrive in Ijen area then check in hotel and rest.
Day 3: Ijen Blue Fire Tour – Surabaya Hotel
Enjoying the crater tour especially the Blue fire phenomenon will start at 01.00 am, The journey begins with pick-up at the hotel where you are staying.Then drive to the Ijen climbing post which can be called the Paltuding post with the driving duration depending on where the hotel is located.
Arriving at Paltuding Post, first get Ijen entrance fee and health check up. Once everything is sorted, start climbing accompanied by a local guide to the top of Mount Ijen for 1.5-2 hours climbing (depending on how fast).
Arriving at the cliffs of Mount Ijen, to see the blue fire you have to go down to the bottom of the crater. The road is rocky and dangerous so you have to be careful.From the edge of the crater you can truly see a rare world wonder, namely the natural combustion of sulfur which produces blue sparks.
The blue fire phenomenon can only be seen when it is still dark, if the sun has started to rise then you have to return to the top of Ijen. From the top of Mount Ijen, you can watch the sunrise and the sulfur crater lake which is said to be one of the largest in the world. The very beautiful turquoise green sulfur crater lake closes the tourist trip to Ijen.
After you feel quite satisfied with nature mount Ijen back to the Paltuding post and back to the hotel, having breakfast, packing and check out. You will be transferred to Surabaya hotel.

Day 4 : Surabaya City Tour – Surabaya Airport
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and start today’s program visiting Cigarette Museum to watch the production process of how to make a handmade “kretek” (local cigarette with mixture of clove), Cheng-Ho Chinese Mosque, Submarine Museum, Governors Palace (photo stop) and stop at Mirota Handicraft Center. Next, transfer to Surabaya airport and the tour finished.
